Biomuve contains Actazin®, an extract from Kiwi fruit which is a natural source of prebiotics, fiber and enzymes. Actazin® provides prebiotics to nurture the probiotic bacteria provided by Biomuve.
Xylanase is added to Biomuve as an enzyme that breaks down hemicellulose and non-starch polysaccharides to release nutrients from foods with a high fiber content. This may decrease the amount of digestive discomfort associated with vegetables, grains, and legumes.
Biomuve includes DE111®, which is a probiotic blend of Bacillus subtilis which may help support regularity in the digestive tract.†
Capsule
The NEW Biomuve (90 count bottle, Item No. HN008-90) no longer uses a timed-release capsule. You may open the capsule for the Biomuve 90 count bottles.
If you have the previous formula of Biomuve, which came in 120 capsules (Item No. HN008-120), it uses a timed-release capsule which should not be opened.

Recommended dosing is 2 capsules twice daily, with or without meals. May increase to three times daily if desired bowel regularity not obtained.†
The capsules for the new version of Biomuve may be opened.
For the old version of Biomuve, sold only in a 120-count capsule bottle:
Recommended dosing is 2 capsules twice daily, with or without meals. More may be taken if desired bowel regularity not obtained. Do not open the OLD Biomuve version's timed-release capsule as this increases the change of the probiotics not surviving the stomach acid.†

For the NEW FORMULA BIOMUVE 90 count available January 20, 2020: The new Biomuve formula, which comes only in a 90 count capsule bottle (45 servings), uses a capsule which may be opened. The 90 count Biomuve no longer uses a timed-release capsule.
For the previous formula which was a 120 count Biomuve: Do not open the delayed-release capsule as this increases the chance of the probiotics not surviving the stomach acid. However, if you do open the capsule to take Biomuve, the other ingredients will still be effective.
