We've changed the bottle size of ZyCarb to 90 capsules/90 doses and lowered the price from the previous larger size. The new 90 capsule size is more popular with our customers.
ZyCarb™️ helps support digestion of starches, carbohydrates and sugars. The enzymes present are balanced to provide digestive relief without the overly-firming effects on stools sometimes observed with Zyme Prime.
ZyCarb will help with lactose intolerance, gas, and bloating. One protease enzyme in the formula provides help with those starchy foods containing some protein, as well as helping break down glycoproteins. Amylase enzyme is lower (compared to Zyme Prime) which will help reduce the firming of stools.
Polyphenols, or sometimes called "phenols", are compounds found in all plants. Xylanase is an enzyme that breaks down xylans, compounds found in plant cell walls, and appears to allow the ingestion of polyphenolic fruits and vegetables.
The enzyme also helps stools from becoming too hard, and so counters the effect seen with other enzyme products. ZyCarb contains the xylanase equivalent of 1/2 capsule of No-Fenol. This unique combination of enzymes should provide excellent digestion of carbohydrates and sugars, but without the stool-hardening effect seen with other carbohydrase products.
Alpha-Galactosidase is useful in breaking down hard-to-digest carbohydrates found in legumes, and helps reduce gas produced from their fermentation in the intestine.
Amylase and glucoamylase are used together to break down starchy compounds into simple sugars.
Lipase is present to break down triglycerides to short-chain fatty acids.
ZyCarb is helpful in easing the gas production from foods high in lactose and fats†
Contraindications for ZyCarb Supplementation
This product may not be appropriate for those with known allergies to Aspergillus enzyme proteins, though non-specific mold allergies do not necessarily preclude use of fungal enzymes. Consult your medical doctor for further advice. Those with known anaphylactic allergic reactions to fungal proteins should NOT ingest fungal-derived enzymes.

This product includes the following materials that are either derived from or contain allergens which must be declared on labels per the US Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA):
The production process used to manufacture the enzymes found in this product utilizes fermentation materials that are derived from or contain the allergens listed below. While these fermentation materials should be either consumed during fermentation or removed from the enzyme during additional enzyme isolation steps, minute traces of these allergens may be left in the final enzyme product. While these traces are expected to be below the limits of detection for standard ELISA based allergen testing methods‡, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of these allergens:
‡NOTE: Enzymes and probiotics can interfere with common ELISA based allergen test kits, producing either false positives or false negatives in these tests. When performing allergen testing on enzyme containing products, special sample preparation techniques must be utilized to avoid this interference.

Recommended dosing is 1 or 2 capsules per meal, however; more may be taken if needed. Dosing is based on amount of food eaten, not body weight or age.†
Frequently Asked Questions
Is ZyCarb better than Zyme Prime?
No product is "better" than another. Multiple variations of our products provide a means of "fine-tuning" your enzyme intake to your particular digestive needs. Zyme Prime and ZyCarb are similar in that they address primarily carbohydrates, but the difference in formulation between products allows their use by those who may need different enzymes.†
Is ZyCarb helpful for lactose intolerance?
Yes, it has the same amount of lactase found in Zyme Prime.†
